Ming and Qing Dynasty Tombs are in the northwest part of Huanghua Island. Two tombs that were stacked together were discovered during the excavation, with the Ming Tomb below and the Qing Tomb above. The main body of the Ming Tomb is built with blue bricks, with three remaining pillow stones at the bottom. A gold underworld coin was found between the pillow stones. The coffin has already corroded, with coffin traces left. The tomb is wrapped with a layer of charcoal that has moisture-proof function, which is quite rare. It is speculated that this tomb belongs to the family of Tao Zhang, who served as the guardian in Zhongzhou during the Ming Dynasty. The Qing Tomb is a stone-walled grave made of soil, consisting of a wall shaped like the character “八”, stone enclosure, and burial chambers. There is no visible coffin bed at the bottom of the burial chamber, but the coffin made with lime soil is intact.
